OLONGAPO CITY––A suspected drug trader in this city was arrested Wednesday, May 4, after he allegedly yielded “shabu” (crystal meth) while police were serving a search warrant against him.
Seized from the unnamed suspect were seven sachets of shabu weighing five grams worth around P34,000, and drug paraphernalia, according to the city police.
The operation was carried out at the suspect’s house in Barangay Old Cabalan with on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Raymond Viray of Regional Trial Court Branch 77 in this city.
Also seized from the suspect was a loaded .38-caliber revolver without a serial number.
The suspect is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm.
