MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported 134 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, as shown in the COVID-19 Tracker on its website.

Active COVID-19 infections, meanwhile, are now down to 5,145.

With this, the total number of confirmed infections is now 3,686,216 nationwide, with 3,620,659 recoveries and 60,412 deaths.

A total of 18,290 individuals were also tested on May 2, according to the DOH.

These new recorded infections are lower than the average number of cases recorded the previous week, April 25 to May 30, at 200 per day or a total of 1,399 infections.
