Ka Leody, Walden Bello to hold miting de avance in QC on May 4

MANILA, Philippines — The tandem of labor leader Leody de Guzman and Walden Bello is set to hold their miting de avance in Quezon City on Wednesday, May 4.

The miting de avance is an event that commonly marks the closing of the campaign season as the national and local elections near with only six days left before May 9.

“Dumalo at magpadalo sa Meeting de Avance ng makasaysayang kandidatura ni Ka Leody at mga kandidato ng PLM – Partido Lakas ng Masa. Ipagtagumpay natin sila para sa kinabukasan ng bayan at ng uri. Manggagawa Naman!,” De Guzman’s camp announced in an advisory.

The miting de avance will be held in a covered court in Quezon City Memorial Circle near Liwasang Aurora.

In the latest presidential surveys from Pulse Asia, De Guzman placed eighth with 0.3 percent of 2,400 respondents choosing him as the next president among the presidential contenders.

Meanwhile, Bello landed at the seventh spot in the vice presidential surveys with 0.4 percent picking him.
