Girl, 2 others dead in Baguio road crash

BAGUIO CITY––Three people, including a 6-year-old girl, died, while 10 others were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Friday, April 29, in this city, police said.
Initial investigation showed that a cargo truck traversing the descending portion of Asin Road hit a taxi around 7 a.m.
Due to the impact, the taxi also bumped a van, which crashed against a concrete wall.
Two of the fatalities were the driver and a passenger of the cargo truck. The girl, who died while being treated at a hospital, was a passenger in the van.
Police have yet to release the names of the victims.
Investigators said the injured victims were taken to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.
