According to Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario, the LPA was spotted 360 kilometers west southwest of Puerto Princesa City.

“Maliit ang tiyansa ng nasabing LPA na maging bagyo ngunit patuloy pa rin itong magdadala ng mga pagulan kasabay ng ITCZ dito sa Mindanao and Palawan area,” said Ordinario in a weather report on Thursday afternoon.

Because of this, overcast skies and rain are still forecast over Kalayaan Islands and Palawan, as well as the Zamboanga area in Mindanao.

“Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon ay magkakaroon pa rin ng maaliwalas na panahon maliban na lamang sa mga isolated rain showers or thunderstorm,” said Ordinario.
