LEGAZPI CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives on Tuesday, April 26, raided a drug den and seized P500,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) from four alleged illegal drug peddlers in a village in Calabanga town in Camarines Sur province, a police report said on Wednesday.

The raid, conducted at 5:09 p.m., yielded 60 grams of shabu being sold by Romy Samson, 43, and his wife Jocy, 43, alleged operators of the said drug den in Zone 1, Barangay (village) Sabang, Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said.

Police also nabbed Erwin Malanyaon, 43, of Bararangay Baybay, and Samuel Dela Cruz, 28, of Barangay Bonot, who were found in the drug den.

The suspects did not resist arrest and were placed under the custody of the town custodial facility while operatives are preparing illegal drug complaints under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
