MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 123 new infections of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as shown in its COVID-19 Tracker.

This is the lowest number the DOH has logged this year and since May 8, 2020 — slightly lower than the number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday at 213.

Current active COVID-19 infections, meanwhile, further decreased to 11,580 from Monday’s 12,369.

Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed infections is now 3,684,835 nationwide, with 3,613,060 recoveries and 60,195 deaths.

A total of 19,050 individuals were also tested on April 25.

The new recorded infections are lower than the average number of cases released the previous week, from April 18 to 24, at 209 per day in a total of 1,465 infections.
