MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate and labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto.
The Partido Lakas ng Masa standard bearer, along with his running mate former Akbayan Rep. Walden Bello and senatorial candidate Luke Espiritu, visited Sotto at the Pasig City Hall.
“Tiyak na magiging malaman at makabuluhan ang diskusyon ng dalawang lider-sosyalista,” De Guzman said of his conversation with the Pasig chief executive.
(For sure, the discussion of two socialist leaders will be meaningful and fruitful.)
Aside from De Guzman, Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Panfilo Lacson have also paid a courtesy visit on Sotto, who is running for reelection.

Sotto, however, has not made any public endorsement of any presidential or vice presidential bets, saying he wants to distance himself from national politics.
