Pagasa: No storm forming in next five days; expect fair weather, rain on Friday
MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau said Thursday it was not seeing any storm or weather disturbance forming within or outside the Philippine area of responsibility in the next five days. But the weather on Friday, April 22, could be a mix of clear skies and isolated rain showers due to thunderstorms.
Weather specialist Raymond Ordinario, of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa), said easterlies or winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean still prevail across the country.
“Bukas dito sa Luzon area, patuloy pa rin ang maaliwalas na panahon na may mga kalat-kalat o pulo-pulong na pagulan, pagkidlat at pagkulog,” Ordinario said in a weather report on Thursday afternoon.
(Tomorrow here in the Luzon area, clear weather will continue with scattered rain, lightning, and thunder.)

The same weather situations could also be expected in Visayas and Mindanao, Ordinario said.
Pagasa further said it did raise any gale warning over the country’s seaboards.
Thus, Ordinario noted: “Malayang makakapalaot ang ating mangingisda at may mga maliliit na sasakyang pandagat.”
