She is also seeking P300,000 in exemplary damages, P50,000 as attorney’s fees, P10,000 for litigation expenses, and P2,500 for every court appearance of her lawyer.

She said her cousin Amabella Capala-Nelson described her as a married woman with loose morals.

“The acts of the defendant caused injury to the plaintiff in a manner that is contrary to morals, good customs or public policy,” said Revelo’s lawyer Dax Malony Montealegre.

Last month, Revelo filed a damage suit against her other cousin Rosanelmar Canton for allegedly insulting on Facebook.

Before that, Revelo has also filed libel complaints against Canton and Nelson.

Revelo’s counsel said Nelson’s actuations in making public defamatory statements against Revelo caused the latter “dishonor, discredit, contempt, and ridicule.”

Both Revelo and Nelson are residing at Canton Beach in Cansojong, Talisay City.

Nelson’s alleged defamatory remarks appeared on her Facebook account last Sept. 12.

Although her name wasn’t mentioned in the posts, Revelo believed that she was the subject of Nelson’s attacks.

Revelo said she was referred to by Nelson as “nurse who is married to a seaman.”

The remarks that Nelson posted on her Facebook can be read by the defendants’ 442 friends and their friends as well.

Revelo said two of her friends read the post accusing her of having extramarital affairs.
