'Notorious drug pusher' nabbed in Lucena buy-bust arrest red-tagged bayan

CITY OF CALAPAN — Two drug suspects were arrested on Sunday, April 17, in Bataraza, Palawan, during a buy-bust operation by police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), according to a report from the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) police office.

Reynaldo Vergel, 56, and Jainalyn Tamisic, 27, were arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) valued at P 5,000 to a PDEA agent poseur-buyer in Barangay Rio Tuba.

Seized from the suspects were two sachets of shabu weighing about 10 grams and valued at P80,000.

Police Regional Office- Mimaropa had already launched 95 anti-illegal drug operations that resulted in the arrest of 102 drug suspects, yielding 298.160 grams of shabu valued at P2,005,351 from January to April 17. INQ
