FEATURED STORIES

Coming off a big upset win, the Air21 Express look to catch another big fish when they battle the on-and-off Alaska Aces in today’s main game of the 37th PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Four Air21 locals scored in double figures in that game led by Nelbert Omolon who tallied 23 points. Omolon was also extra active in the defensive end, collaring 14 rebounds and blocking four shots as the Express snapped a two-game slide for their second win in as many games.

The Aces are gunning for a crucial win as a victory could earn them a piece of the lead depending on the result in the first game battle between the Texters and the Barako Bull Energy.

Alaska, which is coming off a 98-90 win over the Meralco Bolts, are currently in a four -way tie with the B-Meg Llamados, Petron Blaze Boosters and the Barangay Ginebra Kings on identical 3-2 (win-loss) records.
