MANILA, Philippines — The entire country is expected to have fair Easter Sunday weather, the state weather bureau reported on Saturday.
In its latest bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo added that the agency has not monitored any weather disturbance inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility over the next three to five days.
Meanwhile, Pagasa raised a gale warning on the seaboards of Batanes, Calayan, and the Babuyan Islands due to gale force winds associated with the northeasterly surface windflow.
The seaboards in the said areas will expect rough to very rough sea conditions with 2.8 to 4.5 meters of waves.
