13 drug suspects nabbed by cops in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — At least 13 drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations by the police in the province of Cavite.
Police Colonel Arnold Abad, Cavite police chief, reported at 3 p.m. Black Saturday, April 16, that the drug suspects yielded 40 plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth) and meth sniffing paraphernalia.
The volume and street value of the confiscated illegal drugs were not specified in the report.
Police teams reportedly caught 20 violators for illegal gambling and two for possession of illegal firearms.
Authorities reported the seizure of one caliber .38 gun with six bullets and one improvised firearm.
They also arrested two wanted criminals while six other individuals were collared for minor offenses.
The arrested suspects are now detained while charges are being prepared against them.
