MANILA, Philippines — Some trips from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) are not available or are on a limited basis on Good Friday.
In an advisory on Thursday, the PITX management said the terminal will remain open 24 hours on Friday. However, trips to the following destinations will not be available:
– Pio Duran, Albay
– Daet, Camarines Norte
– Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte
– All trips to Camarines Sur
– All trips to Catanduanes
– All trips to Sorsogon
– Occidental Mindoro
– Lemery, Batangas
– Calauag, Infanta, San Andres, San Francisco, and Tagkawayan in Quezon
Meanwhile, trips for the following routes will be limited:
– Batangas City, Lipa City, Lipa City via Tanauan, and San Juan
– Guinayangan, Quezon
– Cavite City (St. Anthony only)
– Naic, Cavite (Wescab only)
– Ternate, Cavite (St. Gabriel and St. Anthony only)
– Trece Martires City, Dasmarinas, Gen. Marino Alvarez (GMA) and Tagaytay City in Cavite
– Legazpi City, Tabaco, and Tiwi in Albay
PITX said normal operations will resume on Black Saturday.
Fast-food stalls inside the bus port will also remain open.
PITX Corporate and Government Relations head Jason Salvador earlier said they expect to serve 100,000 to 110,000 passengers a day at the terminal during the Holy Week break.
