3 fugitives in Central Luzon nabbed

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––One of the most wanted persons in this province was arrested during a manhunt operation, the police said Tuesday, April 12.

In a statement, the Police Regional Office 3 said Fernando Lucero, 56, of Subic town, was arrested based on a warrant issued by Judge Gemma Theresa Hilario-Logronio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Olongapo City.

Lucero, who is facing a rape charge with a recommended bail of P200,000, is a wanted fugitive in Zambales.

Police also arrested two other most wanted persons in Aurora.

The suspects were identified as Renato Salvador, 23, and James Corpuz, 26.

Salvador is the top 3 most wanted person in the region and is wanted for rape, while Corpuz is wanted for lascivious conduct.
