MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme will be suspended from April 12 to 15, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Romando Artes announced on Monday.
In a social media post, MMDA said that the 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. implementation of the Modified Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or number coding scheme will be lifted in observance of the holidays during Holy Week.

“Automatic na lifted ang modified number coding scheme tuwing holidays,” the MMDA said in a statement.
(The modified number coding scheme is automatically lifted during holidays.)
The number coding scheme is effective Mondays to Fridays to ease traffic in Metro Manila on regular weekdays.
