'Notorious drug pusher' nabbed in Lucena buy-bust arrest red-tagged bayan

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three brothers, who are allegedly killers for hire and illegal drug traders in Tiaong town, in Quezon province Saturday.

Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, said the suspects Teodoro Satumba, 34, his siblings Lorenzo, 43, and Abelardo, 47, all residents of the locality were arrested by police operatives and Army soldiers armed with search warrants in their own houses in the villages of Del Rosario and Cabay in a series of operations from 5 a.m. to 5:50 a. m.

The raiders found a caliber 9mm pistol loaded with six bullets from Teodoro while Lorenzo yielded a caliber .45 pistol loaded with nine bullets.

Police seized from Abelardo one caliber 38 revolver with four bullets, one caliber .45 pistol with five bullets, one caliber 30 carbine rifle with two magazines and one hand grenade.

Abelardo also yielded two plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth) and drug paraphernalia, report said.

The police alleged that the suspects are guns-for-hire operating in the provinces of Quezon, Batangas and Cavite. The suspects are also into illegal drug trade.

The siblings are detained at the Tiaong police jail and will be charged for violation of gun and illegal drug laws.
