Bongbong Marcos woos Biliran voters, gets governor’s endorsement
MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was endorsed by Biliran Gov. Roger Espina when the campaigned in the province on Friday.
Marcos reiterated his and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio’s programs to improve the lives of Filipinos.
“Sinimulan natin ang pagkilos ng pagkakaisa dito sa Biliran, huwag po natin titigilan, huwag po natin iiwan hanggang tayo ay makapagsabi na dumating na ang araw na ipinagkaisa natin ang sambayanang Pilipino,” Marcos said as he thanked Espina and the people of Biliran for the warm welcome.

“Sa atin pong tunay na pagmamahal sa Pilipinas, sa atin pong pagmamahal sa ating mga kababayan, nararamdaman po natin na ‘yang tulong na ‘yan ay dapat. Gaganda ang buhay ng ating mga kababayan, gaganda na ang buhay ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino at gaganda na ang Pilipinas,” Marcos said.

Marcos also urged the voters of Biliran to continue uniting for the nation.
“Kaya po huwag natin hihintuan ang ating nasimulan, huwag natin titigilan ang ating trabaho at sakripisyo, gawin natin lahat ang kaya nating gawin upang magkaisa ang Pilipinas, upang magkaisa ang mga Pilipino,” he said.
(Let us not stop what we have started, let us not stop our work and sacrifices. Let us do all we need to do to unite the Philippines.)
Meanwhile, in Samar, Rep. Sharee Ann Tan assured Marcos, Duterte-Carpio and their “UniTeam” candidates that volunteers will support them in the coming elections and assure the protection of their votes.
“Nandito ngayon, pwede po itong sumuporta sa atin at bantayan ang ating boto sa araw ng halalan, nandito po ang ating mga mahal na BBM (Bongbong Marcos) volunteers,” Tan said at the provincial capitol grounds.
