LUCENA CITY – Two alleged notorious drug traders on the police watch list were arrested here on Thursday (April 7) night and yielded more than P130,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), police said.
The suspects were identified as Rommel Jardin, 48, and Cynthia Sarguilla, 36, both residents of this city, Lt. Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
Police collared the suspects after they allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Cotta at 10:31 p.m.
Authorities confiscated six plastic sachets of shabu for distribution to drug users with a street value of P130,154.
Police said the two were on the drug watch list as street-level peddlers of illegal drugs.
The suspects were detained and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
