Walkathon to highlight Women’s Month celebration

IN celebration of the International Women’s Month of March, SM City Cebu will hold activities in honor of all the women of Cebu.

Activities scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 9 to 11 at the lower ground floor of the mall (fronting Watson’s Beauty) include beauty and wellness consultation services, “The Ladies of Cebu” book exhibit by National Bookstore and express yourself through writing on Pinay Pride dedication wall.

The celebration will culminate with a Fitflop all-women walkathon on March 11 at 6 a.m. with the theme “Get Workout While You Walk.” All women are encouraged to join and wear Fitflop while walking.

The walkathon will start outside The Northwing near Cabalen, and will go one full round outside the mall.

Special awards will be given after the walkathon.

Participants may buy a pair of Fitflop slippers until March 10 at the Fitflop store in Northwing and present the receipt at the Fitflop registration booth located at the upper ground floor of the main mall.

Proceeds from every pair purchased will go to ICANSERVE Foundation.
