No LRT 2 from Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday
MANILA, Philippines — The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT 2) will be closed for five days during the Holy Week, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced in a Facebook post on Monday.
The train system will be closed from April 13 to 17 — Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday.
On Tuesday, April 12, it will have shortened operating hours, with the last trip at 8 p.m.
“Plan your Holy Week commute in advance,” the LRTA said.
The LRT 2 is the line that runs through the east-west axis of Metro Manila. Its most western end is the Recto Station and its most eastern end is the Antipolo Station.
