CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police seized at least 81 grams of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) with a street value of over P600,000 during a weeklong operation in this province.
In a report on Monday (March 28), Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said the illegal drugs were confiscated from 101 drug suspects from March 21 to 27.
He said anti-narcotics operatives also seized 37 sachets of more than 1.4 kilos of dried marijuana and arrested 31 most wanted persons during the same period.
At least 222 other people who were facing various offenses, including illegal gambling, were accosted, while 109 firearms were either seized or surrendered in connection with the ongoing gun ban due to the election period, Ochave said.
