Hot, humid Thursday nationwide – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will have hot and humid weather on Thursday with a possibility of rain in the afternoon or evening due to the easterlies, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(The easterlies will cause hot and humid weather, especially at mid-day with possible isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)
No gale warning is in effect over the country’s seaboards and no weather disturbance is being monitored, Pagasa added.

Pagasa advised the public to take extra precautions amid the soaring dry season temperatures.
(Stay indoors or limit our outdoor activities and if you cannot avoid going out, don’t forget to bring protection against the sun.)
“Also, kung magiging matagal po ‘yung activities natin sa labas ay ugaliin po natin or hanggang maaari po, magsuot po tayo ng presko o mga light-colored na damit, ugaliin po natin ‘yung pag-inom po ng tubig, and from time-to-time ay sumilong po tayo or magpahinga po tayo upang maiwasan po natin ‘yung panganib na dala po ng init ng panahon sa ating kalusugan,” she added.
(If you are exposed outdoors for a long period, wear light-colored clothes, drink water, and seek shade or rest from time-to-time to avoid heat-related health concerns.)
