PH posts 407 new COVID-19 cases; active down to 44,597
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 407 new infections of COVID-19 were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday.
Active cases, meanwhile, slightly decreased to 44,597 in the 3,675,384 confirmed infections.
Total recoveries were 3,572,224 deaths were 58,563.
This data was taken through the COVID-19 tracker on the DOH website as the department had stopped its daily COVID-19 report.
The DOH tracker will eventually be updated on a weekly basis Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said in an earlier statement.
Article continues after this advertisementIn its latest weekly report covering the period from March 14 to 20, the DOH recorded a total of 3,572 COVID-19 infections.
