MANILA, Philippines — If campaign sorties were held in enclosed spaces, attendees should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, a Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) official reminded organizers on Tuesday.
“Kung indoor campaign po na ito na maraming magsasalita sa loob ng enclosed area, kailangan ho ‘yung fully vaccinated lamang ho ang makapasok. Maski ‘yung sa Alert Level 1,” DILG Undersecretary Epimaco Densing said during the Laging Handa public briefing.
(If it is an indoor campaign wherein many people will be talking in an enclosed area, attendees must be fully vaccinated. Even those in Alert Level 1 areas.)
He, however, noted that everyone can participate in outdoor campaign events, noting that physical distancing should be observed.

“Sa outdoor po, whether vaccinated ka or unvaccinated pwede naman ho makilahok ang ating mga kababayan sa kampanya,” Densing said.
(Outdoors, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, our fellow Filipinos can join in the campaign.)
“Kailangan lang masundan ‘yung mga nire-require na space, ‘yung social distancing, as much as possible,” he continued.
(The space requirement, social distancing, must be followed as much as possible.)

“So, sa ating mga nag-o-organize ng kampanya sa mga indoor, sa loob ng mga convention centers, make sure po na lahat ng papasok ay fully vaccinated,” he added.
(To campaign organizers in indoor areas, inside convention centers, make sure everyone who will enter is fully vaccinated.)
