Man wanted for rape in Olongapo falls

OLONGAPO CITY––A man wanted for rape in this city was arrested Monday in Macabebe town, Pampanga province.
In a statement, the Olongapo City Police Office said the man, whose name was withheld, was arrested after an operation at Barangay San Juan in Macabebe.

The arrest was made based on a warrant issued by Judge Gemma Theresa Hilario-Logronio of the Family Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 12 in Olongapo.

Police said the operation was launched after receiving an intelligence report provided by the village where the suspect was hiding.
The suspect has been detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 1 in this city.
