Scattered rains, cloudy skies in parts of PH—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—Easterly winds prevailing over Visayas and Mindanao will bring scattered rains over parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.

In its latest weather forecast, Pagasa said that southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would have cloudy skies and will experience scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will likewise, have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies and will also experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the state-run weather bureau said.

“Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East will prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas and coming from the East to Northeast over Mindanao. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, windswill be light to moderate coming from East to Southeast with slight to moderate seas,” Pagasa added.
