‘High-value’ drug suspect, pal nabbed in Angeles City
ANGELES CITY––Police in this city arrested a suspected drug trader and his cohort in a buy-bust operation Tuesday, March 15, at Lourdes Northwest village.
Lt. Roseilyn Vaquilar, officer-in-charge of the city police’s public information office, said they confiscated 15 grams of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P102,000 from Francis Miguel Ignacio alias “One Ball,” 33, and his companion, Angelito Medina, 52, both of this city.
Ignacio was a “high-value individual” in Central Luzon, the police said.
Vaquilar said operatives from the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, City Mobile Force Company, and Police Station 2 conducted the buy-bust at 8:05 p.m., in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency along Kalayaan Street.
The two face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for alleged possession and sale of illegal drugs.
