IBA, Zambales–A 6-seater engine airplane crashed Thursday, March 17, in the waters off Barangay Sto. Rosario in this town, injuring six people, authorities said.

In a report, the Maritime Group of the Philippine National Police said the aircraft crashed some 500 meters from the shoreline of Sto. Rosario around 6:40 a.m.

It said a team from the local police rescued the victims on board a rubber boat.

The plane passengers were taken to the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in this capital town for medical treatment.
