If he’s not running for president, Pacquiao says he will vote for Lacson
MANILA, Philippines — Had Senator Manny Pacquiao not pursued his presidential bid, he says he will cast his vote for fellow senator Panfilo Lacson in the upcoming presidential elections.
“Sa akin ngayon siguro hindi pa talaga ako nakapag-isip ng kung sino ang iboboto ko [kung hindi ako tumatakbo],” Pacquiao said Thursday in an interview with Radyo 5 when asked whom he will vote for if he did not seek the presidency.
(For me, right now, I have not really thought about whom I will vote for if I was not running for presidency.)
“Isa siguro sa malapit sa puso ko ay… si Ping Lacson, kung sa akin lang,” he added.
(Someone close to my heart is Ping Lacson, if it’s up to me.)
