MANILA, Philippines — What was supposed to be a rose-colored mural for Vice President Leni Robredo in Las Piñas City has now become a blank wall after unidentified men on Sunday painted over it hours before her chief rival Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was slated to hold a caravan across the city.
Youth For Leni-Las Piñeros, the group that painted the pink mural on private property at Barangay Pulanglupa Uno, condemned the incident as “harassment” and “obvious repression.”
This is the latest incident in which Robredo-Pangilinan campaign materials were removed or erased from private property.
