MANILA, Philippines — Aside from nuclear power, presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday said there should also be a strong push for more renewable energy plants.

A week after the Philippines and the United States signed an agreement on nuclear energy cooperation, Marcos reiterated his proposal to develop other clean and renewable energy sources, like hydropower, geothermal, wind and solar.
