MANILA, Philippines — Face shields will not be required among the more than 75,000 civil service examinees during the career service examination (CSE) on Sunday, but face masks must be worn at all times by both exam takers and proctors, according to Civil Service Commission (CSC) chairperson Karlo Nograles.
The CSC expects a total of 75,540 individuals to take part in the pen and paper test for the CSE, which will be held in 77 testing centers nationwide.
Although the health protocols have been relaxed, Nograles noted that wearing of face shields is “strongly encouraged” as an added layer of protection for both examinees and test administrators. Face masks are also “strictly required” and must be worn at all times.
