MANILA, Philippines – Former President, now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, needs rest and therapy after she was hospitalized on Thursday due to cervical radiculopathy or pinched nerve, her spokesperson said.
Elena Bautista-Horn, in an interview over 990AM’s Tapatan with Jay Sonza and Den Macaranas said “she needs rest and therapy for her neck.”
“She is still so busy. Her schedule did not change even now that she is just a congresswoman,” Horn said.
Arroyo postponed her scheduled June 17-18 meeting and press briefing with reporters at the House of Representatives after complaining of pain in the neck.
