Robredo hops on a motorcycle to reach Cavite grand rally

MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate and Vice President Leni Robredo hitched a ride on a motorcycle to get to her campaign rally at the General Trias Sports Park in Cavite on Friday night after encountering heavy traffic.

A video posted on Facebook by a Robredo supporter named Ellen showed Robredo riding pillion on a motorcycle.

In a tweet, Kristine Danica Mariano said the motorcycle is owned by her husband Sherwin Descalso Abdon.

She said it was an honor for them to help Robredo reach her campaign rally.

Robredo’s chief of staff Philip Dy also posted a photo of the Vice President riding pillion on the motorcycle.

“Leni Robredo. Gagawin lahat. Gagawan ng paraan. Maabot ka lang. Salamat sa pagbuhos ng pagmamahal, Cavite!” he said in the caption.

Around 47,000 supporters welcomed Robredo and her campaign team at the grand rally.
