P270K ‘shabu’ seized from 5 drug suspects in Rizal, Cavite
LUCENA CITY––Police arrested five drug suspects, one of them armed, and seized P272,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations Friday in Antipolo City, Rizal province, and Bacoor City, Cavite province.
The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police reported that anti-illegal drug operatives collared around 2:30 a.m. Ricardo Villanueva after selling a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Cupang in Antipolo.
Authorities seized 25 grams of shabu in nine sachets valued at P170,000.
Police also found the suspect carrying an undocumented and loaded .45-caliber pistol.
In Bacoor City, police nabbed Ferdinand Arciaga, Jonald dela Peña, Ricardo Gervacio, and Teodulo Bibat during another drug sting operation at 4:10 a.m. in Barangay Molino 1.
The suspects yielded eight sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams and worth P102,000.
