MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated 60 kilos of “shabu” (crystal meth) valued at P414 million during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday morning in Bulacan.
PDEA operatives also arrested a suspect identified as Jalon Supe Laureta, a resident of Bacoor, Cavite, during the sting conducted around 10 a.m. along KM 32 in Marilao.
Authorities said they also seized a car, one android phone, one basic phone, and some identification cards from the suspect following the operation.
The suspect will face complaints on violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, according to PDEA.
