CAMARINES NORTE, Philippines — Senator Panfilo Lacson and his running mate Senate President Vicente Sotto III on Wednesday started their campaign in the Bicol region, considered as the bailiwick of presidential contender, Vice President Leni Robredo.
Lacson and Sotto will start the Bicol leg of their campaign in Daet town, where they are scheduled to hold a press conference in the provincial capitol.
Later in the day, the tandem will be holding a forum with farmers and will then proceed to the Agro Sports Center for a “leaders meeting.”
In 2019, there were over 3.6 million voters in the Bicol region.
Before heading to the Bicol region, Lacson and Sotto were in Quezon province, where they held several consultative meetings, including one with the fisheries sector in Lucena City.
They also answered questions from tricycle drivers and operators in the municipality of Candelaria.
