Pagasa: Rain showers in Visayas, Mindanao on Monday due to trough of LPA
MANILA, Philippines — The through or extension of a low pressure area (LPA) will trigger scattered rain showers in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Monday morning.
The LPA’s trough will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas Northern Mindanao, and the Caraga and Davao regions.
Pagasa said that the LPA is not expected to enter the country’s area of responsibility.
