12 more PNP personnel recover from COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines – Twelve more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have recovered from COVID-19 while six additional infections were reported among its ranks on Thursday.

According to the PNP Health Service, the 12 recovered personnel raised the total number of COVID-19 survivors in the institution to 48,640 since the pandemic hit the country in 2020.

The six fresh coronavirus cases, meanwhile, increased the PNP’s total case count to 48,801.

The PNP’s COVID-19 bulletin likewise indicated the continuous decline in the institution’s active coronavirus cases. It reported 33 active COVID-19 cases on Thursday, which is down from the 39 the day prior.
