MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and rain will continue to prevail over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Wednesday due to various weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

(Continue to expect cloudy skies and the possibility of scattered rain, lightning, and thunder in parts of Aurora and Quezon due to the shear line.)

(On the other hand, the northeast monsoon will continue to bring cloudy weather with rain over parts of Cagayan Valley.)

The easterlies, said Clauren, will also bring rain and cloudy skies in Eastern Visayas.

The rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will experience generally fair weather with possibilities of localized thunderstorms, the weather specialist, however, said.

The same weather situation will also occur in the entire Mindanao and the rest of Visayas., she added.

Further, Clauren said no storms or low-pressure area are expected to enter the country’s area of responsibility in the next two to three days.
