MANILA, Philippines – The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has opened a  COVID-19 vaccination site at the LRT-1 Central Station, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said Monday.

In a statement, the DOTr said the public can now avail of the vaccination from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays.

The site will cater to adult passengers needing their first dose or booster shot.

The vaccine brands available on-site are Sinovac, Moderna, and AstraZeneca, the DOTr noted.

The DOTr said about 200 individuals daily may pre-register through https://manilacovid19vaccine.ph/home.php

Those who are not able to register online, however, would be assisted on-site for their registration prior to the vaccination.

“This is in support of the nationwide vaccination drive against COVID-19, and in line with the directive of Department of Transportation Secretary Art Tugade to push for initiatives that would help ensure the healthy, safety and overall welfare of the riding public,” the DOTr said.
