Her father, President Duterte, vowed to rid the country of illegal drugs three to six months into his term.

“Hindi puwedeng dito lang ang pera at ilipat sa kabila. Kailangan natin ang foreign investors at makukuha natin ang tiwala nila sa ating maayos na bansa at pagkakaisa,” she said during her sortie in this province.

Duterte-Carpio also promised to improve the quality of education in the country and help craft policies to generate more job opportunities and create livelihood programs for pandemic-struck Filipinos.

She said livelihood opportunities must be sustained for undergraduates and out-of-school villagers and cited her experience as mayor to push for her platforms.

“Davao City is among the 10th richest countrywide. We no longer have loans as these have been paid during my term,” she added.

Duterte-Carpio said she would also push for equality across genders, age groups, and social groups.
