Active COVID-19 cases in Angeles City fall below 100
ANGELES CITY––The active COVID-19 cases in this city went down on Monday to 92 from 211 five days ago, city health data showed.
The city government registered two new cases, 10 recoveries, and zero deaths.
The new COVID-19 patients include a resident of Cutcut and another of Pampang village.
Balibago, the city’s biggest and most urbanized village, has the most active cases at 11, then Malabanias with nine, and Santo Domingo with 8.
The highly urbanized city has recorded 14,508 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 13,883 had recovered while 533 had died.
Angeles is under Alert Level 3, but the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has issued a resolution placing the entire Central Luzon under the more lenient Alert Level 2 from Feb. 16 to 28.
