MANILA, Philippines — The shear line or the tail end of a cold front will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Aurora and Quezon on Sunday, the state weather bureau reported.

Aurora and Quezon should brace for moderate to at times heavy rains which may cause possible flash floods or landslides, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa)’s latest bulletin.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, is expecting a fair weather condition, according to Pagasa.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the rest of Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies only with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.

Pagasa did not raise gale warning in any of the seaboards nationwide.
