MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Three infants in Tarlac City are among the 14 new COVID-19 cases in Tarlac City, data from the Tarlac provincial health office showed on Friday, Feb. 11.

The infants include an asymptomatic 4-month-old boy, a 5-month-old girl with mild symptoms, and a 1-year-old girl with mild symptoms.

Two of the infants are under quarantine while the 5-month-old girl is confined in a hospital.

Tarlac province registered 31 new COVID-19 cases, 61 recoveries and zero deaths on Friday. Its active cases stood at 334 on the same day.

The capital Tarlac City has the most active cases at 124, followed by Capas town with 32, and Paniqui with 31.

The province has recorded a total of 23,155 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic broke out in 2020. Of these, 21,969 have recovered while 852 had died.
