MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct road reblocking and repairs on portions of Edsa in Metro Manila starting this weekend.

In a traffic advisory on Thursday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the DPWH road reblocking will begin 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, until early morning of Feb. 14.

The reblocking will cover the areas along EDSA Quezon City New York to Kamuning (3rd lane from sidewalk and service road) and EDSA Caloocan Southbound between Benin St. and B. Serrano St. (4th lane from sidewalk)

MMDA then advised motorists to avoid the said roads and use alternate routes instead, as the affected roads will only be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, Feb 14.
