MANILA, Philippines — Guimaras is the only province in the country with a positive one-week growth rate of COVID-19 cases, independent analytics group OCTA Research said Thursday.
Based on data presented by OCTA Research fellow Guido David on Twitter, Guimaras recorded a nine percent one-week growth rate of COVID-19 cases, 9.54 average daily attack rate (ADAR), and 56 percent healthcare utilization.
“Only Guimaras had a positive growth rate, although its healthcare utilization is moderate and ADAR is also moderate,” David said.
ADAR is the average number of new cases per day in an area per 100,000 individuals.
