AROUND 6,000 families will benefit from the donations extended by the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or The Mormon Church for the earthquake victims in Negros Oriental.

Members gathered at the Lahug chapel in Salinas Drive starting last Tuesday to help repack truck loads of rice and canned goods.

Each pack contains several kilos of rice, noodles, soap and assorted canned goods.
